Driving Progress With Renewable Energy Initiatives
Our deep commitment to sustainability propels Minera’s creative energy solutions. We’ve made considerable progress by converting resources in our industrial facilities into self-sustaining power. Naturally occurring hot gases, a byproduct of our activities, are efficiently turned into energy, which powers our processes.
To further reduce our environmental impact, we have developed hydropower and wind power facilities and are in the process of building a solar unit, confirming our commitment to renewable energy. We collectively generate a substantial amount of power within our facilities.
While the majority is used for captive consumption, we constantly provide excess energy to the CESCOM grid, which aligns with our environmental goals and drives the nation’s growth.
Minera’s approach to environmental stewardship is exemplified by our diverse energy generation facilities. We leverage cutting-edge technology and renewable resources to sustain our operations and contribute to a greener future.

Our comprehensive performance supervision method has four important cornerstones: extensive inspection, strict control, proactive assurance, and the principles of Total Quality Management (TQM).
To assure constant perfection at every level of production, our advanced Quality Control Lab is outfitted with sophisticated tools for analysis such as spectrometers, electronic balances, and pulverizer grinding machines.
Minera uses waste heat recovery to create 8 megawatts of power for plant operations. A WHRB is fueled by production process heat, which generates steam for a turbine and generator while reducing emissions and encouraging sustainable steelmaking.
