An Initiative for Women and Children

The Sofia Educational and Charitable Trust, a testament to Minera’s CSR vision, is dedicated to empowering women and children in Bellary. With the help of a nurturing environment, free education, all-encompassing support, and skill-building opportunities, they can reach their full potential and make valuable contributions to a thriving community.

Minera empowers youth through targeted education support. We support local schools, provide funding for disadvantaged students, sponsor educators, and deliver crucial resources. We guarantee that at-risk children have access to learning materials and collaborate with Akshaya Patra to supply midday meals to 300+ students.

Prioritizing Community Wellness

Minera proactively promotes community health. We organise medical camps, blood donation events, and offer free medical assistance, which includes medication and transportation services. We provide ambulance support and conduct disease prevention programs, in addition to AIDS awareness initiatives and assistance to affected children.

Minera focuses on infrastructure development to strengthen communities. We construct roads, support local farming, and incorporate regional resources into our operations, leading to a 97% employment rate for local workers. In accordance with our commitment to advancing agriculture, we provide financial assistance of Rs 5000 for every acre of wetlands and Rs 4000 for each acre of dry land in partnership with local businesses.

Our engaged involvement in cultural activities such as Ambedkar Jayanthi, Vigraha Pratisthapana, and Annadana for Ayyappa Deities highlights our steadfast commitment to local customs.
